Most people have a drawer full of old empty ink cartridges. So the Ink and Media blog asked local artist Faith Pearson if she could come up with a good use for their pile of expensive trash. The result was these lovingly recreated scenes from classic science fiction movies, built using what most of us would normally throw away.
I hate spending more per ounce than a fine champagne just to feed my printer, so it's great to see someone doing something creative with the pricey leftovers from printing the odd airline boarding pass.
