Finally, Mattel makes foldable R/C cars, just what we've always wanted. These Stealth Rides, barely the size of a USB key, come nestled inside a credit card sized remote control. Set to roll out at the Toy Fair in New York next month, the $25 minicars will make their debut on the market in August.
Pushed a button and the tiny flat car unfolds itself from its credit card moorings, turning into something that looks more like a minuscule boat. Mattel plans to roll out five different models of this pocket-sized trinket, and one of them will be the Batmobile Tumbler.
The most remarkable spec: 30 minutes of running time on a charge. We'll believe that when we see it.
