Here's the not-so-well-kept secret about trade shows: They're actually a great place to get free loot. Plenty of exhibitors at this week's Consumer Electronics Show will be giving away gadgets, trinkets and gadgety trinkets. Sometimes they find a good home, but too often they end up in the bottom of some overworked writer's laptop bag, lost and forgotten.
