Microsoft just told us it's planning to release a Twitter app for the Zune HD personal media player. The free app will be available tomorrow morning at 9 AM, downloadable via the Zune software on a PC or over a wireless connection.
So now the Zune takes the next step. It has a long way to go before it reaches the 100,000+ apps of its competitors, but this is a good start. We especially like the fact that all the Zune apps are free, albeit with advertising. And that super-clean OLED screen will be just right for some serious tweeting.

Well.. I myself dont use twitter, but still this is a step in the right direction. MS should pick up the pace some with the apps for the Zune HD.

I already downloaded it. It's on the Zune Marketplace as I write this.
