Need help waking up? Jeff Saltzman's "Princess and the Pea Alarm Clock" will give you more help than you've ever wanted — it'll literally have you rolling right out of bed. The "pea" is actually an inflatable bag that rests under the mattress. Where you'd normally hear an ear-piercing alarm, here you'll feel your bed rising up under you until your weight makes the bed seesaw, forcing you off.
No climbing back into — or onto, as the case is here — bed, either. Until the system deflates, you're looking at one wobbly mattress. You can check it all out in the video above. The alarm casing is built into a pea can, which is decidedly awesome.

Apparently the inventor does not like DVICE linking to his videos - it says "removed by user"

I guess he hasn't applied for the patent yet and wants to protect his investment...
But I guess if that was the case he shouldn't have posted it on Youtube.
Who knows?...

I'm waiting for Inflate Demo 2 with a person on top of the mattress before I rush out and buy one. This is the kind of invention Lucy ("I Love Lucy") would come up with with husband Ricky getting rolled out of bed for laughs which is probably the only application for such a wacky idea.

If this really ever goes to market (which I doubt) it will suddenly be removed when the first injury lawsuit occurs by someone tossed onto the floor/nightstand. Truly a stupid concept.

I don't think it was intended to go on sale but more of a weekend project.
It didn't say "removed by user" when I watched it.

That is awesome. I really think that the lawsuit comment is unnecessary in light of how basic this really was. Obviously its not going to be going to the shelves any time soon. Perhaps would be successful as a kit that you could build.
