ROPID mixes speedy moves with cuter robot design

A new, even cuter, Japanese robot has hit the scene called ROPID. Developed by Tomotaka Takahashi of Robo Garage at Kyoto University, the tiny robot can respond to voice commands and actually has a mouth that moves when it speaks.

In addition to its communication features, the ROPID can supposedly walk, run, jump faster than many other similarity constructed robots. You can see video of the ROPID showing off its mobility here.

Ok... so it's cute... and you just confirmed that... now the robots know and they'll use the tactic you just came up with (distracting the enemies).

So if you see one of these doing something cute, make sure to first emit an EMP (if it's still moving then set it on fire).
