You know what my biggest problem with clocks is? That they just don't require enough effort. Not the case with the manual digital clock, which requires you to update the time manually every minute.
Sure, you'll need a second, real clock on hand to know when to update it. But still, won't it feel good to get back in control of time and the scheduling in your life? Just don't blame the clock when you're late all the time. That one will be all on you.

Solution in search of a problem?

I'd say the solution *is* the problem. Although iif it had a "will return at" stuck on top it would be somewhat useful.

ooh, I could see using this in my classroom when I am teaching time to my students. I could tell them a time and then they would have to make it on the clock.

@discusdiva1044: better yet, make the kids build this first, a couple of pieces of cardboard, scissors and some red paint...
or get a sheet of metal and a bunch of magnets...
or a cork board and a whatever red material you can push a pin through...
or a particle board with holes and wooden digits with pegs...

There are multiple products, including the "will return" clock.

As the old adage goes - this clock is more accurate than most mechanical watches - it is correct twice a day even if you never change it - whereas my watch which looses about a second a month is always wrong!

It would come in handy for displaying times after a race or such. In other words, its not a "clock", its a display board.
