I don't know about this phone design
This is the Fujitsu F-Circle, a mobile phone concept designed by Yuji Ito. They say it has a "timeless" appearance, but I'm not sure about that. I mean, what's the deal with the shape? Is that supposed to fit in your pocket? I'll stick to traditional designs, thanks.

Might fit OK in a lady's purse, the that retro-look "dial" is cute, but thank goodness it's just a "concept."

I like it. Every other cellphone is a variation of the same thing. This one new and looks like it may be easier to use. However, just how big will it be. Its gotta fit in your pocket.

I'm assuming that bottom appendage goes into the circle. Depending on the diameter of that, might be interesting...

BigD have you looked at that keypad? Have fun texting your friends on that. It looks somewhat cool, but I can't imagine it having very good functionality

Interesting. Many years ago when engineers were just imagining cell phones they pictured them as round in design (in Popular Science ?).

I find this phone really cool. I mean yes, it is shaped as a magnifying glass, but it is very futuristic looking. Now if only they come up with flying cars and teleporters.

I really like it, at least they are thinking outside the usual soft edged box and trying something new. I think it would look better as a full circle with that menu bit sliding out or a touch screen, and it looks a little thick.

i designd a phone that had a round lcd like 7 years ago that had no pad like that....
i wanted a way to text faster and withe 2 fingures without a keabord so for me this one is overkill.
better contact me and get my design insted , is a bit more revolutionair in the interaction way..
