The craziest air hockey table ever made
This air hockey game has a video screen for a surface, which shows the score for the game you're playing. It also shows a seizure-inducing amount of flashing lights, making this game look far harder than your normal game of air hockey. Good lord. Only in Japan, folks!

I want that table! One problem with it though.....Really hard to see the puck. The Puck needs to be a neon green or red to make it easier to see.

Um, not to be a complete bag but that is not a screen as much as it is a..well..screen. The image is projected on to the table from above not below, please note the shadows from the players arms and the image on the top of the puck.
It is kinda neat but damn, do you have to weare a mouth gaurd to combat the seizures?
I will take the ye olde black light table with the radioactive glowing puck.

I made this for a university assignment approximately 5 years ago. We used a touch sensitive "smart board" and mounted a projector from the roof going straight down. The board was programmed in java.
A lot simpler looking, but still a hell of a lot of fun to play!
For anyone interested, it was part of a degree called Information Environments with UQ in Queensland. It's now defunct.
