Nothing is worse that having to get out of bed and walk to the couch. I mean, who has the energy? Luckily, Panasonic has created a robotic bed that makes moving from lying down to sitting up easier than ever before.
Essentially, the bed turns into a chair while you sit in it, and then can wheel around your apartment without you ever needing to stand. Sure, it's for people with limited mobility, but that won't stop the supremely lazy from getting on board too.

Oh Man, you mean i STILL have to push a button to wheel myself to the fridge? That's a lot of work. And I have to actually stand up to go to the bathroom? It needs a built-in toilet seat and needs to come with a person to push the button for me. Then it would be convenient.

This would be absolutely amazing for hospital patients! It's such a burden to get people up these days with current technology! Be interesting to know how much these puppies would cost!

First a robot that helps crippled people golf and now this? I'm truly astounded by the amount of innovation that's going on to aid paraplegics.

This looks pretty sweet. I wonder if that is a built in tv screen up at top? I wonder if it goes up to 1080p? lol! But how well does it perform? Just imagine a wheel chair that goes in 3 directions. Forward, backwards, then sideways. I think its too much work for some one with disabilities.

why cant the chait be a wheelchair for any disabled person ??
if you could do that then this would be a good way for disabled people to live a "normal"life in the bedroom , ea they would not need anybody or they would need les asistance ea hevy lifting etc....
and maby for the over obece in amerika this chair could slide over a toilet and becoume a comode of some sorts....
now we just need to make it waterproof so it can slide into a shower.... and bob's your uncle ;-)
