Nixie Concrete Clock is solid as a rock

Nixie Concrete Clock is solid as a rock

It's about time somebody thought of a new way to present nixie tubes, and this one is the most concrete version of a nixie clock we've seen yet. The six nixie tubes are perfectly fitted into a block of concrete, showing you the time in a most unusual way. If you're wondering, the time displayed here is 10:23:54.

This fully functioning prototype uses vintage Z560M Nixie tubes, and it's version 0.01 of Luxembourg designer Daniel Kurth's Nixie Concrete idea. He suggests that you can wall mount this solid-as-a-rock clock. He's looking for production possibilities, but we'd risk wearing concrete overshoes for one of these.
