'Laptop Burka' may be the most useless product ever

\'Laptop Burka\' may be the most useless product ever

The questionably-named Laptop Burka is essentially a sheet you drape over you and your laptop when outdoors to provide privacy and a glare shield. Yes, the makers of this $36 sheet expect you to sit in public with it over you.

If you're really worried about glare and privacy, here's a solution: your house. Just stay inside. Sitting on a park bench with a sheet over you is a good way for a hobo to get into a fight with you over territories, as he'll mistake you for one of his own. Also, you'll look like a complete jackass.

Laptop Burka / GEEK SHEET is for the serious laptop computer traveler that isnt sitting in some AC office or locked up in a dark closet. Computer users today want a 100% glare free work enviorment. High tech writers and computer companys today just dont get it ! Users want a 100% portable glare free work space. GEEK SHEET brings that to the user. GEEK SHEET out performs "any computer shade or anti glare filter" in the market today. Serious laptop users could careless what anyone thinks as long as it allows them to get their work done.

I immediately distrust laptopburka, due entirely to the misuse of 'companys' vs the proper plural 'companies'.. Is that textist of me?

By Default at 7:08 PM ON 09/23/09

No, not textist. You're in the clear.

The only use I see for this is to destroy what little dignity and reputation you may have left...and at 36 bucks, that's a steal!

Will this prevent the mosquitoes from sucking my battery dry? If so, I'd recommend this from anyone that hates it when mosquitoes steal power from your laptop. It's bad enough they take our blood!

Youand I both know those anti glare filters dont work outside. You also know those half shell computer shades let the other 50% of the glare into your screen.
Serious laptop users could careless what anyone else thinks about what they are doing !
If serious glare is a problem for you there is "no computer shade or high tech filter on the market today that can out perform GEEK SHEET"
