Remember that unusual and beautiful design concept for a Thermaltake PC case we showed you last March? When we visited its designers, BMW DesignworksUSA in California, they hinted that this product of their Munich studio would eventually be available for you and me, and they weren't kidding.
Our pals at MaximumPC got a hold of one, and here it is in all its glory, the Thermaltake Level 10, making its way out of the concept stage and into reality for a cool $700. Just one look, and you know this case is unlike any other. It's got room for three optical drives, six hot-swappable SATA drives, and each modular component has its own cooling. Hope it's not too noisy.
Check out the gallery for plenty of views of the inside and outside of this baby. It's the computer of the future, available in mid-October. That does it, we're buying one.

Wow... $700 for a case? Is that what I just read... Amazing. I love the hot-swap SATA, but holy crap...
I hope it's worth it. Actually, subtract the hot-swappable hard drive feature and I could totally build one of these... It would just have lots of duct tape and would probably look like someone taped lots of hardward components together...

I love the design, but seriously, $700 for a case? that is just freaking rediculous.

you're paying for the design not the actual value of the case.

That has got to be one of the ugliest cases I've ever seen. Right up there with the Alienware cases for sure.

An ugly case is the Dell XPS monstrosity that I got taking up half a room of space.
I think that I got a family of immigrants living inside it.

@khaimachi
Thank you captain obvious. I won't be paying $700 for that design... My car is barely worth that much...

The Alienware and XPS cases are spectacular. I have a Dell XPS running dual quadcores so yeah they had to make a little room for that kind of heat. Ya feel me?

At $50 for material and manufacturing, i see a knock off in the near future at a profitable $150, no duct tape required.
