Start with a black-and-white striped room, mount multiple projectors to the ceiling, and you get this crazy digital wallpaper. It's done with some tricky programming, using "deskewing" to map the projectors precisely to the architectural shape of any room.
So far, its developers have created a look with moving multicolored stripes and a Pac-Man animation, and they're saying it can be made to interact with the room's occupants. Be sure to hit the Continue Reading jump to see the video of this intriguing light show in motion.
This is some clever stuff, giving us a sneak peek a few years into the future, when animated OLEDs could be installed in striped configurations on the wall with no projectors required.
