I think I'll save money and keep the black colored PS3. It'd be hard to maintain the color and with little nephews and nieces around, it's probably not a good idea but definitely a nice concept. What isn't colorware painting these days. http://ziggytek.com/

LoL, for $10, I can get a can of spray paint, maybe I can even get some special primer for another $10 so it won't rub off.
