Brabus-Benz Viano Lounge, a high-tech palace on wheels

Brabus-Benz Viano Lounge, a high-tech palace on wheels

Sure, it looks like a silly box, but the 2010 Brabus Mercedes-Benz Viano Lounge hides a wonderland of crazy tech toys. It's quite the list: a 32-inch "electrically deployed" LCD, Wi-Fi, an onboard network that connects computers to the TV and one another, a PlayStation 3, Dolby surround sound, Nespresso machine and external cameras that can be viewed on the main screen.

I'm sure this thing's supposed to be used to ferry around important businessmen and all that, but to me it looks like what would happen if the guys from Entourage wanted to throw a LAN party. Pretty sweet, but I doubt I have enough arms and legs to chop off to ever afford one.

Looks like something that will get everything stolen out of pretty quick. Also those tilted photos are really annoying.

so why does the outside look different from the inside? Is there some wall that appears? It looks like the before and after of a "pimp my ride" episode.

At least this car has tech stuff you could use in it. I always though 'Pimp My Ride' was so ridiculous.

Host: "Yo, your Pinto now has a ping pong table coming out the back!"

Me: "You mother f**ker. Now I have to sell a ping pong table, and I can't get my wheelchair bound grandma to bingo."

FAKE! look at the pix of the van then look at the inside pix they dont match up.... you could turn the van into that but thats not the real thing,.... i mean just look at the rear windows they dont have the little square in the middle back

It looks fine from the back. The biggest giveaway is that there is no wall separating the front and back of the van like there seems to be in the interior shot. But honestly, it's not a matter of something being a "FAKE!" - it's probably a matter of being a concept. You can design the interior and exterior of a car separately

Shucks, and I thought that the 'Electrinically deployed 32" LCD TV would, you know, raise up , creating a partition between front and back, and thus explaining the apparent disparity between the interior and exterior shots.
But that's just me.

this car has no bathroom, do not want!

By Starhawk73 at 11:49 AM ON 10/01/09

This guy better have a super security system or those goodies in there will be swiped fast! And what's with all the slanted photos? I guess the photographer is a fan of the old Batman TV show.

What's this?! A high-tech motor carrage speeding towards stately Wayne manor?

By Logan2009 at 1:32 PM ON 10/01/09

Is it just me or something, but the exterior shots show NOTHING from the outside and the interior in those shots are black seats. Granted tan would really stand out. Great concept, but as above, FAKE!

This concept has been around for a while. Althougn it is only available in Europe, the Made In The USA LandJet is all of the above and more.
