Speaker Phone is different than a speakerphone

No, this Speaker Phone doesn't make calls. It's literally a speaker, and an awesome one at that.

This homemade speaker is crammed inside the body of an old phone. The sound comes out from behind where the number pad used to be. Even cooler is the fact that you turn it on and off by taking the phone off the hook. Simply plug in an iPod or other audio source and it'll do the rest. I want one.

I honestly do not understand the fascination with low-fidelity monophonic speakers for the iPod. IS the sound quality of the iPod so bad that a crappy mono speaker hides most of the badness, or what?

Although I love the notion of repurpose - I fail to see the need to clutter the desk with such a thing. It's a mega dust collector! Make the phone cord the ipod dock-receptacle perhaps... too many options missed to get full usability out of it. good attempt.

Why can't anybody take something at face value anymore? It's like they're not happy until they find a fault, no matter how small or trivial it is. Like there so perfect.

Wasteful crap...

I think people are missing the point. The arm/hand that picks up the receiver is the hottest appendage I've ever seen. I want him to pick up MY receiver handle over and over. How many of those phone/speakers do I have to buy to get a hold of that hotness.

Call mE!
