We've been following the Sanyo Xacti line of 720p camcorders since their inception, and now the pistol-grip shooter Xacti DMX-CG11 is even easier to use with wireless connectivity. If that's not enough for you, there's a mini HDMI interface that allows you to plug it into your big-screen HDTV and soak up all that 720p goodness, pronto. That video might look pretty good, too, coming from a 10 megapixel CMOS sensor inside.
Its wireless capability integrates that same tech used in the Eye-Fi wireless SD card, letting you move your video clips from camcorder to PC or Mac with nary a cable in sight. This $300 pistol, available in green, silver and orange, adds image stabilization to the mix, a welcome feature since this tool might not be easy to hold steady. Available in Japan a couple of weeks, it'll probably make its way to these shores soon thereafter.
