Whether you are a techie fisherman or simply a savvy beach bum, the new Waterproof Bag for the iPhone and iPod Touch is probably something you've been hoping to see invented.
Designed by Sanwa, the waterproof pouch features a robust sealing mechanism to keep out the elements but still allows you to use the touch functions of the iPhone or iPod Touch as well as take photos via the rear window of the case. Although this won't rank among the most feature rich items in your tech arsenal, it will certainly prove to be one of the most useful. You can pick up your own iPhone protector for just 3,280 yen ($34) here.

I don't think I'd trust this bag enough to submerge an iPhone in water, it's probably useful as a just-in-case measure though.

This is definitely a cool gadget for carrying electronic device.

Considering that the least little bit of sweat on a steamy night makes it nigh impossible to make the touch screen work at all, this may be worth using for New York summer days and rainstorms in addition to swimming with dolphins.

@Gabbertoons
Really? I live in the tropics and have never really had a problem with sweat disrupting my i-pod touch usage, despite buckets of the stuff I produce daily.

Great, now we'll have boaters than can't drive because there on there cell phone 24/7, whether there actually talking to anyone or not.
"Damn it John! What the hell was so important on Facebook that you log on WHILE we were scuba diving?" ^_^

dumb... just do a euro-vac number on said gadget, shove it in another ziplock for added measure, and you've saved yourself some cash and laughter.
