Cutting a pizza into eight equal slices is difficult with a regular pizza slicer. You always end up with a couple of really large slices and a couple of thinner slices. That's not really fair, now is it? If only there was some ridiculous and impractical implement to solve this idiosyncratic problem!
This Equalizer Multi-Blade Rocker Pizza Cutter guarantees that all of your slices come out exactly even. Of course, it also costs between $190 and $250 depending on the size, so you'd better have a really, really big problem with off-sized slices of pizza to want this thing.

Many years ago, while working at Papa Johns Pizza, we would use one of these all the time. It's not really meant as a consumer kitchen utensil, but rather as a commercial tool. Theyre pretty old too.... still made things a lot easier when we had to get 30 pizzas out the door though.

How is this a story?
Not a new invention.
A huge space wasting, hard to clean, single purpose device that only works for pizza's smaller then it. No way to divide into other number of slices like 4 or 6 or 10 or 12.
Doesn't work for non-round pizza's. How hard is it to learn to cut pizza? Not hard.
A knife or pizza cutting wheel is much better!!!

But what if you fold up your pizza and eat it like a taco? ^_^
It takes the fun out of slicing pizza, especially if you're the one doing the cutting. You always cut it so there's a couple slices that are bigger than the rest, those are yours, everybody else gets the small ones. :)

Wouldn't want that thing in my kitchen.

Lol, i'll have to try the taco idea. :D

This does seem pretty useless. If you are so worried about getting perfectly consistent sizes just use a cake scorer to mark how many slices you want and cut with a knife or wheel.

Plus you can choose if you'd rather spend ten minutes cleaning it by hand or take up half of your dishwasher space with it.
I've tried several kinds of pizza knife (I worked at a pizza joint for a while) and I've found the best one is the rocker blade. It's a curved blade with handles at either end that is longer than the pizza is wide, that you rock from one end to the other to cut the pizza, rotate and repeat.
