Here's an idea that should be implemented on all earbuds manufactured from this day forward. London designer Lee Washington's great idea uses a zipper-like configuration to attach together both cables on his earbuds when not in use. It's easier than closing a Ziploc bag. With this, maybe cables wouldn't be so bad, certainly better than Bluetooth.
It's about time. We're had it up to here with earbud cables the thickness of angel hair, immediately rematerializing into auto-tangled mode as soon as they leave our ears. It couldn't be that difficult to build this zippy idea into every headset cable in the world. Imagine all the free time suddenly liberated by this annoyance-avoiding time saver.

why not use the same technology as the Beats By Dr Dre? It costs more but in the end it is very effective. This is a great practical solution.

erm they're not tangle-proof, merely tangle resistant.
And I was all excited for a second there.
