When you pick up a Wiimote, the most exciting thing you get to control is Mario. And while yes, that can be pretty exciting, it's nothing compared to what these crazy Aussies managed to hook up.

As you can see by the above video, these guys hooked a 15-ton grabble with a 16-meter reach up to a Wiimote, allowing them to fully control it using the controller to Nintendo's latest console. Sure, this ups the Wii's $250 price considerably, but it's still pretty damned cool.
