As soon as you open a gallon of milk, it starts to spoil. It's the air that starts working on it, encouraging all those creepy crawlies to start growing and eating away at the organic material. Pour your milk into this shrinking jug called "Fresh," and it'll keep the amount of air in contact with the milk at a bare minimum, because the container collapses along with the amount of milk remaining.
This flexible container works like a spring. Push a button on the top and a valve opens, and as you press down on the container, the milk is forced out. As you continue forcing out the milk, the container gets shorter and shorter.
If this clever design concept, an entry in the James Dyson Awards competition, can actually keep milk from spoiling for an extra week as it claims, it deserves to be a winner.

Why don't they sell milk in a box like they sell wine??
They have been selling milk in 5 gal. bags for commercial use for years!!!

I second that! Milk should be sold in a bag-in-a-box like wine. Solved problem.

This was already invented 15 years ago.
There was a product called Burple that was like cool-aid sold in a collapsible container like that one.

Because they want it to spoil so you buy more.

I also like the box milk idea...its beats this design.

I am guessing this is reusable, thus beating the disposable milk in a bag idea.

The milk in a bag sounds like a great idea, but until that happens this is a nice alternative for people that live alone. I often buy a gallon as apposed to the half gallon that is just about the same price: however it goes bad before i can use it all.
