You might be too cool to wear a watch, but this wrist wizardry could make you reconsider that notion. The Louis Vuitton Tambour Mysterieuse Calibre LV115 watch appears to defy the laws of physics with its floating movement and suspended hour and minute indicators. How is this even possible?
The secret lies in two transparent sapphire disks supporting the hour and minute hands. Mysterieuse, indeed. The gold and steel masterpiece is completely mechanical, crafted of 115 hand-mounted parts, and runs for eight days on a winding.
Because the watch costs just over a quarter of a million dollars, Louis Vuitton lets you customize it however you want, and even includes a fancy trunk to store it when it's not adorning your wrist. Just be sure to hire an armed guard to accompany you when you wear such a precious thing.

Even if I had all the money in the world, I
wouldn't waste my money on a time pice.
I got a ten dollar watch that looks better
than that.

@jman1969
Yeah and I bet you also think your 1981 VW rabbit (or what ever old POS you have!) that breaks down every other day is as good as a Ferrari.....

There is painstakingly engineered and carefully hand-assembled products; And there's grossly-overpriced capitalist hype.
This watch looks to be the latter.
At least a sports car would be well worth that kind of change!

I agree w/ both jman1969 & PnkPoyt; that said, if this watch were competitively priced around $1000 - $2000 I would save to get it for its sheer beauty. Much like the belt driven watch or the ultra complicated Vacheron Constantin with 834 moving parts & double face.

Okay it looks like a really cool watch, but why is it so freaking expensive?! All it is is a thingy made of gears and glass that you wrap around your wrist.
