

Waking up in the morning is a painful enough exercise as is, so why would you want to make it even worse? That's exactly what this Shape Up! alarm clock does: it's a barbell that you need to curl 30 times to get it to shut off. 30 times!
I'm no personal trainer, but I'm pretty sure that 30 groggy, one-armed curls aren't going to do your body that much good. Maybe you should just stick to a normal alarm clock and get a gym membership, hmm?

i wonder how much it weights...if it's less then a pound like most alarm clocks it's size the 30 curls would be more annoying then helpful....if it's to be useful 5 lbs would be great
