Digital monkey wrench fixes something that ain't broke

Digital monkey wrench fixes something that ain\'t broke

The monkey wrench has been a staple in tool boxes for decades. But apparently nobody realized that their tool just wasn't handy enough. Why? It didn't require batteries.

This digital monkey wrench rectifies that. It's got a built-in torque reader, telling you just how much force you need to use to get that bolt tightened just enough. All those other nuts and bolts you've tightened have been done sloppily, as you didn't have the guiding hand of technology on your side. For shame!

That's not a monkey wrench. That's a cresent wrench (also known as an adjustable spanner.) Monkey wrenchs are also a type of adjustable spanner wrench, but that is not what this is.

I hate to break it to you, but that isn't a monkey wrench. It's called a crescent wrench, or in British English, an adjustable spanner.

A digital torque meeter is a god-send for certain types of precision engineering. Often you need to tighten nuts to very precise tourques and this can help with that alot. Granted, most consumers won't need this type of tool, but I know many people who would find this extremely helpfull

I could use one of these every morning when I put myself together...

That's awesome. I can think of a lot of application s where this would be a much better option than a traditional ratcheting torque wrench. I'll take one.

I think it is a great idea. It would insure the correct amount of torque when required, where a traditional ratcheting torque won't do.
