USB Flexible Light Scope lets you see the world with spy eyes

Mission Impossible wanna-be agents have a new weapon to add to their arsenal called the USB Flexible Light Scope. The tiny camera and LED light allow you to peer into any tiny crevice that may or may not contain gold bouillon, as well as snake the camera around corners to make sure the coast is clear.

Thanko is known for weird, often less-than-useful devices, but this one is a keeper (it even comes with a "serious business" style carrying case). You can pick up your spy cam for a mere 7,980 yen ($83) here.

It would be much better as a spy scope if the LED was infrared or ultraviolet, because then only the camera would be able to see if it was dark, without lighting up the area it is being pointed at and revealing its presence.

I could use that at work to looking for scored cylinders in weed eaters and chainsaw's. My current tool is just a LED on a flexible shaft.
