Tennis champ Maria Sharpova modeled a curious, geeky dress. The plan? Every time her cell phone rings, her dress also lights up to let her know she's got a call. Well, her and everyone else.
It's the work of British fashion student Georgie Davies, who worked with Sony Ericsson on ways to merge technology and chic threads. "When you're in a pub or a bar, you can never, ever hear your phone," Davies to Reuters. The solution? A short-sleeved, knee-length white dress that's covered shoulder-to-hip with translucent scales that move and blink. Davies plans for the dress to incorporate Bluetooth technology so that it can wirelessly interact with phones.
It's certainly not the wildest example of geeky fashion we've seen, but if the effect is subtle enough, it may just be the most useful. Now if it only had a way to escape the noise of those boisterous bars, it'd be perfect.

There are two very simple ways to escape the noise of the boisterous bars:
1. Leave the dump.
2. Use stereo bluetooth earbuds that block out the noise.

Interesting idea.
But also reminds of something in a movie, where an assassin or something calls another persons phone to see where they are.
Well now this just makes them stick out in the fricken open lol!
Still an interesting idea none-the-less.
