How do you make a skateboard more extreme? By adding a giant fan to the back, of course.
Ryan Bavetta did just that, equipping his skateboard with a 3.7 HP model airplane engine to create a Rocket Board. Sure, it would be more accurately named if it had a real rocket on the back instead of a big fan, but that just sounds dangerous.

What is that canister of pink stuff? Probably rocket fuel right? So amazing! Only in America could we have such a fine invention. I look forward to purchasing one soon! Thank you! Death to Smoochie!

Not precisely the idea that Back to the Future 2 sold us right?

Cool. Reminds me of the neat contraptions I use to come up with as a kid. Re the lack of brakes: youth don' need no stinkin' brakes.

It's called "glow fuel" as those engines us a glow plug to initially warm the cylinder. They're actually mini-diesel engines as they use only compression to force ignition.

It is Glow Fuel and the Engines use a "Glow Plug" which is similar to a Diesel. However the RC glow plug is a bit different. The type of fuel burned releases a gas which interacts with the RC Glow Plug, causing it to continuously glow red hot, continuing the ignition of the fuel. On a diesel the compression force itself is enough to cause fuel ignition.
