

In-flight entertainment setups are getting more and more advanced, and Panasonic is looking to push the technology even further. It's new Merge in-flight entertainment system has a connector for your iPod/iPhone to utilize all of its multimedia files as well as USB ports for your digital camera.
I mean, I can't really imagine ever feeling the need to screen my own digital photos for myself on an airplane, but the option of charging up your gadgets and watching videos from your iPhone on your seat-back screen is pretty great.

After all the DHS indignities that make it take 2 hours to get onto a plane, I'd love to find something like this on the seatback I have to stare at for the next several hours. Only problem is that it will be too close to see comfortably, and that's assuming it's even installed, which is bloody unlikely for non-First Class passengers. The airlines are slowly working their way up to charging extra to carry on your own luggage.
