Here's a GPS unit that might be able to save you some money. As sneaky speed cameras quietly insinuate themselves into the U.S. landscape, you might be surprised to find a speeding citation in your mailbox someday soon. Not if you have a Cobra SL3 on your dashboard.
With its speed camera database on board, the GPS-enabled Cobra SL3 will let you know with its LED lights and warning tones if speed cameras or red light cameras might soon be spying on you, giving you plenty of warning to slow down before it's too late. It's also programmed to warn you of dangerous intersections.
The $100 unit is updated every 12 hours with locations of any of new cop-cams that might have sprouted up overnight, and those location updates are free for a year. We're just wondering if this little dashboard denizen might make a nuisance of itself with distracting false alarms. If not, it could pay for itself in a matter of minutes.

This is pretty much old hat in the UK where just about every motoring GPS has speed camera info. As we have been plagued with these things for years. I would of thought most of you American chappies would be using them for target practice with Magnum .44's or the odd Glock..
