When designer Kelly Bremer showed off this Motorola "Nest" phone as a design concept late last year, we hardly took it seriously, but now the phone is apparently headed for the realm of reality. Its pleasingly asymmetric shape is supposed to resemble a bird's nest, but we beg to differ. We think it resembles no other cell phone in the world, and eagerly await its release.
Too bad it doesn't have a transparent OLED screen viewable from front and back, as was fantasized in the design concept stage. Even though its upcoming real-world iteration falls short of that fanciful design concept, we still think this is one sweet-looking smartphone. Details of its release are unavailable, but if this trinket finds its way to market, this could be the beginning of a Motorola renaissance.

So with this we would need yet another reason to convert pics and vids to a new format/resolution It is pleasing to look at! Definitely not with Motorola as a maker, internally it would be still a failing, behind the 8 ball software. Sorry dreamers...

I am the designer of the Nest concept phone. Let me clarify this. The phone is NOT GOING INTO PRODUCTION by Motorola. The first two images on the page are digital models and photoshop renderings of my STUDENT CONCEPT (of which I gave no permission to publish on 99% of the sites they are on). The last two of the actual model are not of my own. I do not know who started this hoax but I have been in indirect contact with Motorola through my college and I assure you they have no intention of pushing my initial concept through at this time.

Thanks for comment! At this time, Motorola has told me that there are unfortunately no plans to bring this concept to reality. Like I said, I don't know who created the Asian knock-off model but that is not by Motorola or myself.

That's cool, but it looks very expensive.
