Futuristic garbage can keeps stench at bay with refrigeration and UV light

The Minus Garbage Bin mounts a two-pronged attack against stinky garbage, first firing an antibacterial ultraviolet light at the odiferous detritus, and then keeping it frozen until it's time to eject its garbage tank. The porthole on top gives you a look at the status of the contents within, its ominous blue light reminding us of an underwater storage facility for nuclear rods.

Our only problem with this design concept: Using up lots of energy to freeze garbage just doesn't seem to be a particularly green idea. Although a compost heap might be a lot stinkier, it would be better for the planet. But this is a spiffy looking garbage can, and would be even cooler if it would automatically open when you get within a few inches.

Man this would be great for my father in law who fishes all the time. The fish guts always get rotten and stink up the yard.
