We've seen speakers made of inflatable plastic, bamboo and even concrete, but here's a new one: eggshells. These meticulously crafted eggshell speakers are the brainchild of Flickr user "Gomhi," and I can only wonder how much time it took — and how many shells he cracked — building these tiny, oblong speakers. You can see he didn't just cut holes for the drivers; he also needed to attach connectors in back. Impressive.
Each shell contains a Hi-Vi B1S driver. Gomhi says they sound a little narrow, so they're probably not the best with music that has a lot of pumping bass, but folky tunes might sound OK. At least until he gets hungry for an omelet.

Looks like attractive speakers. very good product. I will differently get it. Hope sound quality would be fine. And no shouting when play full volume.

You want bass and easier construction, I recommend giving ostrich eggs a try.
The insides make a very rich (if not huge) omelet, too.

This must have been the electronic equivalent of putting a ship in a bottle. Just a tiny bit of pressure in the wrong place on the cut edge of that shell and the perfect socket would be ruined. I wouldn't have the patience to pull this off.

It's too bad they don't make plastic eggs.

Might not do much for 'pumping bass' but they look like they'd be awesome tweeters.

Oh man! These are awesome.
Yeah, the guy had way too much time on his hands, but that's an incredible piece of work.
