Taguchi offers indoor-outdoor, plug-and-play solar energy kit

An upcoming event in Tokyo called Sound Gardening is the latest proof that green energy is no longer fringe technology. Held in Tokyo's scenic Kiyosumi Gardens, the sound experimentation event featuring Philippe Chatelain, Olivier Pasquet and Go Taneda will use the Sun Sonic Power System developed by Taguchi.

The system, designed for use indoors and outdoors, includes a moderately-sized solar panel and a charge controller. Framed in what appears to be environmentally friendly wood paneling, the entire set-up costs just 37,800 ($385) to rent and 714,000 to ($7,270) buy here.
