If you're a Verizon customer just dying to get an iPhone, there may be some hope on the horizon. According to USA Today, there are some high-level talks going on between Apple and Verizon about bringing the iPhone to the carrier.
Don't expect it to happen this year, however. Instead, it's likely that when the iPhone goes LTE — the next generation of cellular tech — Verizon will hop on board. That's because both AT&T and Verizon will both be offering LTE service, while the two carriers offer different types of cell technology now. It's all still a rumor now, but it seems like a likely one.

Just got word from an insider that Verizon WILL have the iPhone November 2009. No word on functionality compared to AT&T.
