PXP-900 looks like a PSP, but plays only retro games

This may look like a standard-issue Sony PSP handheld gaming console, but it's not. No, this is the PXP-900, and it is most definitely not made by Sony. But it's still pretty awesome.

You see, the PXP is built as a portable emulator, meaning you can load it up with basically every old school game ever made and play them wherever you want. It's got a 4.3-inch screen and supports "NES, Famicom, Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Super Famicom, SEGA MegaDrive and some sort of 32-bit ROM." And with the dearth of good PSP games, this might be a much more fun choice than the official version.

I have a PSP hacked to do just this...

I also have an "official" firmware PSP for playing games.... good PSP games are far from dead. In fact, I would say the release list for this year looks better than the consoles so far. Can't wait for E3.

I bet it takes like 12 AA batteries too. Knockoffs...
This is the kind of thing some cheap parents would torture their kids with instead of saving up to get them the actual real PSP.

Love this. But i think it will be hard to import such a counterfeit.

The video playback is surprisingly good, so if you watch a lot of download movies/TV shows, etc. it’s worth the price just for that.

The emulation of NES, Gameboy/GBC, and Sega Genesis is actually pretty good – but the GBA and SNES emulation is really hit and miss; some ROMs work fine, while others don’t run at all or have messed-up graphics.
