Last year Peugeot launched the fifth edition of its annual design contest, this time asking creative types around the world to "Imagine the Peugeot in the worldwide megalopolis of tomorrow." Many interesting entries were shown off, but the ultimate winner was Carlos Arturo Torres Tovar, a Columbian designer who created a sleek, electric-powered, three-wheeled Peugeot design that looks futuristic, but entirely practical.
The one-seater Peugeot RD would feature voice-assisted driving, and a single panoramic windshield. In addition to the 10,000 euros and an Xbox 360, part of the prize was seeing the design become a reality (shown above). The concept car is currently on display at the Shanghai Motor Show and you can see video of the other entries here.

Electric, Plug-in, economical, versatile, functional, fast commuter, for the worker who missed his/her bus? needs last minute groceries, not found on net-shopper? Soon, all factory workers will be dormed for three or four days, on the factory floor, then sent home for a similar period - no more extensive commuting time wasted, in order to catch up to the Chinese method of manufacture, an obviously better model than the American 8 to 5 muscle contest with unions, no hydraulic or electric assists, no computer driven machines, and slowed pace! Newer cars look more and more like a means to get to the bullet train terminus, rather than highway cruisers of old!
