At Fort Campbell, Kentucky, soldiers are being tested before and after they've been deployed as part of a new program to diagnose and treat the effects of brain injuries. The first round of tests was applied to 400 members of the 101st Airborne Division returning from their deployment.

Soldiers go through a battery of tests to measure different cognitive functions. Visual tests show how fast and accurately a soldier can recognize letters, a driving simulator gives soldiers the feeling of driving under different environmental conditions and a Nintendo Wii game system, with its motion-sensitive controller, helps with coordination skills.
Pish. Those guys have been at war. I think they're ready for something more challenging than a Wii game. Put them in front of a little Ninja Gaiden. They can take it.
