Land Rover entertainment system lets two people watch different things at the same time

Land Rover has just unveiled a pretty slick new navigation/entertainment system in its new vehicles. What sets this 12-inch, dash-mounted touchscreen apart from similar models? Well, thanks to something called the Parallax Barrier, the person sitting in the passenger seat can see something completely different than the person in the drivers seat. For example, the driver could see the nav system while the passenger watches a movie. Awesome? Yes it is.

The whole thing is HDD-based and also includes a USB plug and a dedicated iPod port (of course). If you don't quite have the scratch for a new Land Rover, this tech is sure to come to aftermarket products and less expensive cars soon enough. Patience.

Screw this, where is my holographic heads-up display so that I don't have to look away from the road?
