Is this the world's simplest flashlight?
Flashlights often come in handy, but they also can be pretty bulky. Well, this ingenious 9V battery flashlight boils the device down to its most basic elements: a light and a battery.
By removing pretty much everything but the light from the design, this little guy is as portable as flashlights come. And unlike other small lights, its easy to swap the batteries out on this one, as it's part of the design. And hey, it's only $5!

Have to confess I don't much like "it's been done" comments, but I want to give due credit to this flashlight, which has been around for quite awhile:

I saw something similar in a dollar store the other day. It was more like a 9Volt powered candle light but still. I remember doing something similar back in the day when LEDs weren't that powerful.
