Although Shenzhen makes the somewhat dubious claim that their AEE MD80 video camera is the smallest in the world, it nevertheless is one of the more attractive of the mini-cams available. The camera does away with any view finder (images can only be viewed on a Windows PC), and shoots images at 30 frames per second.
After shooting your video the data is then stored on an 8 gigabyte SD memory card. Equipped with 2 hours of battery power and support for USB 2.0 the MD80 can be yours for just $85 here.

The battery life make this camera pretty much useless. Also the fact that you can't power it via USB while recording is another drawback. The 8gb card limitation is still another. Until they overcome these issues I don't see this device being useful at all.

It sure is the wrong color for something spies may want to use it. For now, I'll stick with Q's gear!

I would like to know how to set the time/date on it. There are no instructions about this. If anyone knows email me please.

I bought one of these to use in a car to record my activities during my shift of duty. I used my power cable for my Garmin GPS which was powered at the cigarette lighter. The camera recorded for 8 hrs continuous while charging the battery and downloaded the video to the 8 gig card in 30 minute blocks. Very happy with it.

My first videos recorded with this were indoors and came out good. Not totally secured on my bicycle I tried recording my ride home and the unit fell off into the street. No fault of the maker but my fault. The SD card came out and the clip broke. Using the rubber housing along with the tether it came with, I fastened it to my Mountain bike onto the fork and although bumped and bruised it work like a pro. So far I only purchased a 4 gig card for it but the battery runs out before the card gets full. Eventually I will purchase the Duracell USB battery for extended recording time.
mine is black and I have seen it pictured in red & silver. Doesn't seem to record well if not properly charged (I hope) but the truth of that is still out.
Good for the money, I would recommend to a friend. Paid 67.90 or so for mine on ebay. Seez
