As homeless populations in most major cities around the world increase, now is the time to begin creating sustainable housing solutions that defy convention. Dutch design group N55, in conjunction with the Wysing Arts Centre, Cambridgeshire, created just such a solution with the invention of the Walking House.
In addition to the ability to change zip codes, the Walking House also features solar panels and micro windmills for generating green energy on-the-go. If you can imagine a future where traditional trailer parks are replaced by legions of these things you begin to get an idea of just how futuristic this creation is. You can see video of the Walking House on the move here.

Man, this is "Howl's Moving Castle" come to life! Now when I think about setting down roots somewhere, this is it. The best part, is that if the kids run away from home, you can go chasing after them.

Again with this ? Are there only RV's in the U.S. ? Slap a solar panel on a Pop-Up - tow it with an electric golf cart.
