When someone accuses cops of doing something wrong, it's usually their word against the cops. But not so if the cop happened to be wearing the Taser Axon on-officer recording system.
Essentially, the Axon is a head-mounted camera that captures everything that the officer sees. This is great because it'll collect perfect evidence of everything they see, making court cases much more cut and dry as to what exactly happened. The trick will just be getting cops to wear them, which might not be too easy. But in any case, it'd make Cops a lot more interesting.

The trick will be getting cops not only to wear them, but also to prevent them from erasing footage that will incriminate them.

And why, exactly, would the officer in question have access to this footage?
Looks to me like it's a live-feed via bluetooth or similar; at least stored off of the device.

If they were forced to wear these, when ever they wanted to go outside the law all they'd have to say is that the suspect knocked it off his head during a scuffle.
Otherwise it's a goo idea. I seriously doubt any police department would use it though. If they did there would be more cops on paid admin leave during investigations then actual cops working.

This isn't new, British coppers have been wearing these for ages
