Movable Powerstrip lets you organize your outlets any which way

Movable-Power-strip.jpgIf you've got a lot of gear plugged in at your entertainment center — your TV or Blu-ray player or game consoles — you know that you need a big power strip and a way to organize your cables. Designer Jeff Carter's Movable Power is a power strip that would help all of that, because you can arrange the plugs any way you feel like. You could even snake it along to accommodate longer and shorter cables.

The Movable Power system is just a prototype at this time, but it's easy to see how it'd be useful. Outlets can plug into one of three positions off one another, which will also help with those too-large power adapters that sometimes cover up other outlets.
