BMW Snug, the living room with wheels

BMW-Snug-by-David-Raffai.jpgWith the BMW Snug, Hungarian designer David Raffai has created what he considers a social space with wheels. On the inside, staggered seating gives the car's interior a more open feel, much like you'd enjoy in a living room. On the outside, too, the Snug features recessed areas on the side and rear that act as seating.

The Snug's also designed to have changeable graphics along the side of the vehicle to customize it, and take advantage of greener technologies, such as hydrogen fuel cells. Check out the gallery below for more of David Raffai's concept vehicle.

You call it "staggered seating," I call it "making sure the passenger behind the driver is killed by sideways whiplash in practically every collision."

Idiotic design.

Agreed. Design over function to the Nth degree. This just looks dangerous.

There's notmuch room for cargo or for a mini-bar. I like what I think he is trying to do but safety is first, storage is second, then everything else comes into play after that. I like the primary design but it nees to be practical and green. What good is green car no one will buy. Don't forget what happenedto Delorean and Turner.
