TV Remote features built-in speaker for audiophile couch potatoes
The TV Remote Control with Speaker is another one of the completely odd, "why does this thing exist" kind gadgets that inspires thousands of geeks worldwide to trek to Japan's Akihabara every year. This tiny cube flips open to reveal a sinister-looking set of control buttons with a decidedly retro-looking speaker hovering just above.
Other than summoning your Volcano lair army of robo-soldiers, it's hard to understand why ELPA thought this was a good idea--but it looks cool! You can pick up your master of the universe cube controller for just 4,000 yen ($41) here.

Interesting. I hear that the comcast remote doubles as a phone, and the Wii controller has a (weak) speaker built in. So throw this one in the mix, it won't hurt
