Touch Wars: Toshiba unveils the next would-be iPhone killer
Yet another iPhone competitor called the TG01 has just been launched by Japanese hardware manufacturer Toshiba. Powered by Windows Mobile 6.1, the touchscreen phone features GPS, WiFi, video playback, Flash video playback, a 3.2 megapixel camera, video game play, a microSD slot and a beautiful 4.1-inch 800 x 480 display.
The new twist this device offers is a slick 3D GUI that flips around to reveal new menus and information. According to hands-on reports, the device is not only thinner (9.9 millimeters) than the iPhone, but the touchscreen functions operate faster than the Apple handset. No launch date, price or carrier have been announced, but we'll update you when Toshiba hashes out the details.

@E Because, for better or worse, every phone that has come out since has tried to replicate both the functionality and the design of the iPhone. This one doesn't look like any exception.
