Tiny Philips Bluetooth music earphones have a magic gestural interface
These Philips SHB 7110 earphones are swank enough for us to get over our loathing of Bluetooth. There's a microphone in there somewhere, and with a single touch you can tap into a cell phone call while you're listening to music.
The gestural touch interface lets you adjust the volume with a quick slide of your finger, and you transfer a call to your cell phone by merely taking the earpieces off. Too bad there's a wire connecting the two earpieces — at first we though these were like the exquisite $500 Sennheiser MX W1 cable-free (and Bluetooth-free) earphones.
Let's hope these headphones won't cost that much. In the design phase thus far, pricing of these attractive Philips cans hasn't been announced.

OH, Wait, Apple didn't enable stereo bluetooth for the music player. Bad form on that one.

This would be awesome for mp3 players. All it needs is a headphone jack which is the receiver. It would be so much better to ride my bike and not worry that I'm going to pull my mp3 player out with 1 yank and have it smash into a million pieces on the bike trail.

@BOXERFANATIC good news, apple just announced iphone OS 3.0 with among other things ad2p, yes your reading it correctly, STEREO BLUETOOTH SUPPORT!! According to apple the v3.0 will be out sometime 'round the summer. Oh PS: I'm dutch, so don't forget what kind of people are creating all those beautiful philips devices! (well designing anyway, it's all (of course) is made/manufactured in China/Taiwan/Singapore)
So we'll have to wait a little longer, but than we've stereo bluetooth, cut/copy/paste, tetherig, mms and more. Check out Apple's event video via:
