In recent episodes of Battlestar Galactica, it's been revealed that the 13th Colony of Mankind — that would be the one on Earth — was all Cylon, all the time. We still don't really know how that relates to human history, but it's not too much of a stretch to think that a few centurions were created back in the 19th Century.

It is? Well, it's just fun then, so we're still excited about our Steampunk Cylon Contest, and would love it if you entered. It's time to call upon (log into?) your inner designer and create a drawing, painting, rendering or model of a Cylon as if it were created back in the Victorian Age.
